Begin your adventurous experience with a stunning helicopter flight over the turquoise blue waters of the Hauraki Gulf and surrounding islands before touching down on Waiheke Island - one of the wine capitals of New Zealand, steeped in rich history, native bush and golden sand beaches. Here, you will be met by by your guide from Terra and Tide, an award winning eco tourism company.

Description: 

Your expert guide from Terra & Tide will meet you at the helicopter
landing site and take you on a stunning bush and beach walk
through our regional park where you will learn about our flora,
fauna and Maori history of the area as well as how the island thrives
today.
Make sure to bring your togs (swimwear) with you as we have time
for a refreshing dip, enjoy the water at one of the secluded beaches
after your hike.

Description:

Your expert guide from Terra & Tide will meet you and take you on a stunning coastal walk where you will learn about our flora, fauna and Maori history of the area as well as the island today. Enjoy stunning views of the rolling hills, surrounding vineyards, valleys and the Hauraki Gulf. Once we’re finished with our hike, we will head for a for a private wine tasting at two of Waiheke’s most popular vineyards; Cable Bay & Mudbrick vineyard. 

Allow up to 5 hours for this part of the experience. 

Lunch Options - your choice needs to made at time of booking.

Vineyard lunch - Your guide will drop you off at Mudbrick Vineyard for a fantastic 3 course a-la-carte lunch (additional F&B at own expense). 

OR 

Champagne picnic lunch - Your guide will prepare your secluded champagne picnic under ancient Pohutukawa trees, to be enjoyed at your leisure.
